I currently teach grade 9 to 12 Band and Jazz Band at Didsbury High School.
I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Saskatchewan, and a Master of Music in Wind Conducting from the University of Missouri – Columbia. During the summer I am the Music Director for the Kamloops Interior Summer School of Music. In 2017 I received the David Peterkin Award in recognition of exemplary and consistent contribution to bands and band education from the Mu Alpha chapter of Phi Beta Mu, and in 2019 I was honoured to receive the Elkhorn Award for Band Director of the Year from the Alberta Band Association.
In my free time I enjoy the great outdoors with my family.
