English 10-1 (5 credits) English Language Arts is an essential part of your education because it teaches you communication skills that you'll use throughout your life. These skills help you connect with other people in your family, your community, your workplace, and the world. Your study of literature helps you to understand yourself and other people. There are seven  modules in this course.

English 10-2 (5 credits) The program is based on five general outcomes: explore thoughts, ideas, feelings and experiences, manage ideas and information, report, support, and collaborate with others, comprehend and respond personally, critically and creatively to literature and other text in oral, print, visual and multimedia forms, create oral, print, visual, and multi-media's texts and enhance the clarity and artistry of communication. The course includes the following topics: assessing the challenge, media influence, expressing yourself effectively, expanding your reading and writing, understanding ourselves and others, visual representation, encounters with nature. This course has seven modules.

English 20-1 (5 credits) Students study short stories, poems, essays and articles, a modern play a Shakespeare play, a novel, and a feature film. There are seven units in this course.

English 20-2 (5 credits) This course is designed to make students more aware of their roles in the workplace and in society. Literature includes short stories, poems, non-fiction, novel and film. There are seven units in this course.
